It has been 25 years since we graduated and gone our seperate ways. Now it is the time that we, "Sumter High Class of 1983," come together to celebrate our time together at Sumter High School, and to memorialize this celebration in a memorybook, which we are planning to have professionally created and printed. We hope you will join us in making this a reality & successful creation for all of our class. The memorybook will be printed with either a hard cover or soft cover binder, on a blue with silver grey colored text for the title with our reunion info on the front cover( and spine if it is a hard cover), with a black & white image on the front, which is still undecided. The inside will glossy COLOR printed pages. The memorybook will include:

· An index
· A memorial page in honor of our classmates lost
· A creative writing or poem (if we can get some submissions from one or more of you to be considered).
· Photos & stories from our past at SHS or previous reunions.
· Photos from the weekend of events we will have at our Sumter High Class of 1983 25th Reunion.
· Professional Photographs of each of you (and your spouse/guest) taken by Limelite Photography, which will be put in the Memorybook like a yearbook with names listed beneath each photo.
· Biographies submitted with your Memorybook Questionnaire & Registration form during reunion registration. This will include one photo of your choice, if you choose to submit on. These can also be submitted via e-mail to
SumterHigh_Class1983@yahoo.com. The photos in JPEG form and Bios in Word doc attachment form.
To make this Memorybook a reality & success we need your help. What we need from you to make this a success:
· Your input with photos & stories from Sumter High and our time spent their. These can be submitted via e-mail to our class e-mail address,
SumterHigh_Class1983@yahoo.com, in JPEG form for the photos & Word doc form for the stories.
· We need any photos you may have lying around in the attic in shoe boxes from good old SHS days.
· We need you to submit your bios with your Memorybook Questionnaires & a photo of your choice.
We need you to most importantly order a Memorybook to have for your very own to commemorate our 25th Reunion with Class of 1983, and to assist with the setting the cost for us over all as a group. The more we order the better the price will be. So, please send an e-mail to SumterHigh_Class1983@yahoo.com and let us know that you would like to order a Memorybook, and if you think you would prefer a Hard Cover or Soft Cover style.
Click here to see the Memorybook Options Price Qoutes we received put into a Word document for you to get an idea of what the price might be depending on the quantity ordered (Note: This is a 30 day quote received in April 2008 & subject to price fluctuations. Also, due to our need to reschedule the reunion to June of 2009 the price may increase from 3-5% just as a best guess or estimation from printer as of 7-09-08).The price difference no mater which quantity from the quote from the printer has AROUND $20 difference between a Soft Cover Comb Binder and a Hard Cover Perfect Binder style Memorybook...not much for the quality difference & durability. With this in mind, please let us know your preference & if the majority go with the opposite choice, would you still be interested in getting a Memorybook. Sending your decision & prefernce will allow us to determine price to list on this site when registration is completed. Check back after registration is completed and give us a few days to get all the totals in the system. Then we will be able to have the price listed for you here for you to purchase between then and the reunion in 2009. |
